Publication number: 20160016493Abstract: A latch release actuator for a seat latch is configured to apply a tension onto a flexible latch release member to release the seat latch. The latch release actuator comprises a pulley mounted to be rotatable about a rotation axis between a rest position and a latch release position. The pulley comprises an attachment portion for attaching the flexible latch release member. The latch release actuator comprises a power drive mechanism to drive the pulley. The latch release actuator comprises a lock mechanism configured to selectively lock the pulley at the latch release position when the pulley reaches the latch release position.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 7, 2014Publication date: January 21, 2016Inventors: Ruediger Deppe, Maxime Samain, Christoph Kiesewetter, Gunter Maierhofer

Patent number: 7954842Abstract: An airbag restraint device for occupants of a vehicle, and including an airbag system having an airbag module with an inflatable airbag. A cover at least partially covers the airbag and has a tear seam via which the airbag, upon inflation, can expand outwardly. A force-concentrating arrangement concentrates the opening force of the expanding airbag onto the tear seam, and comprises a structure extending around the airbag and having two opposite ends. The structure is folded over to form two layers and to bring the ends together at the tear seam, where the ends are connected to the cover. One of the ends is provided with a plurality of spaced-apart, strip-shaped members extending away from that end and sewn directly to the tear seam to form tear strips that upon expansion of the airbag tear defined, spaced-apart holes into the tear seam for a defined further opening thereof. The layers of the structure are disposed next to or parallel to one another.Type: GrantFiled: January 28, 2010Date of Patent: June 7, 2011Assignee: Faurecia Autositze GmbHInventors: Rüdiger Deppe, Christian Hans Georg Determann, Stefan Gottauf, Stefan Krug

Patent number: 6870282Abstract: Previously in a bus system, voltage signals were transmitted from the central unit to the modules, which could reply thereto by variation of the current input. A disadvantage thereby is the relatively high susceptibility to interference of the current input, which itself already must be kept relatively small due to the energy consumption, as well as the correspondingly high effort and expense for an error-free recognition of the signals transmitted from the modules in the central unit. It is now suggested, that the modules also answer to the central unit by means of voltage signals superposed on the direct supply voltage, whereby for the time duration of the signal transmission by the modules, the central unit provides the direct supply voltage to the bus line over a resistor, so that the voltage signal of the module can be detected in the central unit on the bus line on the side of the resistor facing away from the direct supply voltage.Type: GrantFiled: October 17, 2000Date of Patent: March 22, 2005Assignees: Conti Temic microelectronic GmbH, Robert Bosch GmbHInventors: Michael Bischoff, Ruediger Deppe, Guenter Fendt, Thomas Huber, Norbert Mueller, Werner Nitschke, Johannes Rinkens, Peter Schaedler, Stefan Schaeffer, Werner Steiner

Patent number: 6836714Abstract: A method for having the control unit access the measured data of individual sensors flexibly over time, and includes providing for the control unit to transmit a request message to the sensors, and having each sensor, by comparing the request message with its own address, derive whether and in what time slot, it should transmit its measured data to the control unit.Type: GrantFiled: January 25, 2002Date of Patent: December 28, 2004Assignees: Robert Bosch GmbH, Temic Telefunken Microelectric GmbHInventors: Werner Nitschke, Thomas Huber, Peter Schaedler, Michael Bischoff, Ruediger Deppe, Guenter Fendt, Norbert Mueller, Johannes Rinkens, Stefan Schaeffer, Werner Steiner

Patent number: 6676731Abstract: The solids will first of all reach a first container under atmospheric pressure and then reach a second container of variable pressure, which is disposed thereunder, before they are introduced into the pressure vessel. The first and the second container each have a lower outlet passage and a movable shutter cooperating with the outlet passage. The outlet end of the outlet passage is disposed 20 to 400 mm above the shutter in the closed position, in the closed position the shutter forms the bottom of a chamber at least partly filled with solids. The chamber is connected with the outlet passage in a gastight way, and there is no gastightness between the chamber and the shutter. In the closed position, the shutter carries a solid bed, a vertical solid column having a height of at least 1 m is present in the outlet passage and in the container. In the closed position, seal gas is pressed into the chamber and into the solid column from the outside.Type: GrantFiled: August 8, 2001Date of Patent: January 13, 2004Assignee: MG Technologies AGInventors: Rüdiger Deppe, Klaus Kanschik, Andreas Orth
