The method is capable of determining multiple reference cyclone routes relevant to an concerned cyclone route by comparing each of multiple historical cyclone routes, each of which routes consists of multiple cyclone center coordinates, with an estimated cyclone route consisting of multiple estimated cyclone center coordinates for representing the concerned cyclone route.
