  • Publication number: 20040021299
Abstract: A folding device for a wheelchair includes two pivot frames, two support frames, and multiple screw members. The two pivot frames are pivotally mounted between the two support frames, and are pivotally connected with each other. Each of the two pivot frames is foldable. Thus, the wheelchair may have the smallest volume after being folded, thereby facilitating storage and transportation of the wheelchair.

  • Publication number: 20040021300
Abstract: A foldable wheelchair includes a seat frame having a front side provided with a foot frame, a rear side provided with two push handles, and a bottom side provided with two wheel frames. In assembly, each of the foot frame, the two push handles and the two wheel frames is pivotally mounted on the seat frame, and may be folded and positioned on one side of the seat frame. Thus, when the wheelchair is expanded, the seat frame may form a receiving space for placing and storing articles therein. In addition, each of the two push handles and the foot frame may be folded, so that the wheelchair may function as a portable suitcase by the telescopic pull bar and the wheel frames, thereby facilitating the user carrying the wheelchair.

  • Publication number: 20040021298
Abstract: A wheel chair includes two side frames and a cross assembly is pivotably connected between the two side frames. The cross assembly includes two parts and each part includes a top tube, a bottom tube and a link connected between the top tube and the bottom tube. The link includes a first section extending from the top tube, a second section extending from the bottom tube and a third section which has two ends respectively pivotably connected to the first section and the second section. When folding the wheel chair, the cross assembly can be further folded to reduce the final height of the wheel chair.
