  • Patent number: 11386777
Abstract: Various systems and methods for updating a current probability density function. The PDF includes a list of objects within a location. First information is received from a first remote device at a first position within the location. The first information includes a vehicle identification, a first PDF of the objects. Second information is received from a second remote device at a second position within the location. The second information includes a vehicle identification, a second PDF of the objects. A first rank for the first PDF is determined based on locations of the objects in the first PDF compared to locations of the objects in the current PDF. A second rank for the second PDF is determined. The first PDF and the second PDF are combined using the first rank and the second rank into a combined PDF. The current PDF based on the combined PDF.

  • Patent number: 11003972
Abstract: Automated methods and apparatuses for charging or fueling a vehicle include provision of a plurality of tags and a controller to a vehicle. The plurality of tags are respectively installed at a plurality of positions on a top face of a roof of the vehicle. The controller is configured to cause information about a charging or fueling port of the vehicle to be transmitted to a charging or fueling system of a charging or fueling station. The charging or fueling system, provided with a charging connector or fueling nozzle, and an imaging device, uses at least the information about the charging or fueling port and the plurality of positions of the plurality tags to determine a location of the charging or fueling port of the vehicle, to charge or fuel the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 10790900
Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to frequency offset tracking in optical signals. A device may identify modulated light received from a light source, wherein the modulated light is received at a frame rate, and wherein the modulated light is associated with pixel clusters. The device may determine light samples based on the pixel clusters, the light samples including a first light sample and a second light sample. The device may determine a vector norm between the first light sample and the second light sample using an oversampling factor. The device may determine that the vector norm is below a threshold. The device may determine a start frame delimiter (SFD) based on the vector norm. The device may demodulate the symbol based on the oversampling factor.

  • Publication number: 20190050697
Abstract: Automated methods and apparatuses for charging or fueling a vehicle, include, in embodiments, the CA/AD system of a vehicle, having a charging or fueling port, being provided with an apparatus having a plurality of tags and a controller. The plurality of tags are respectively installed at a plurality of positions on a top face of a roof of the vehicle. The controller is provided to the CA/AD system. The controller is configured to cause information about the charging or fueling port to be transmitted (e.g., via LED tags) to the charging or fueling system of the charging or fueling station. The charging or fueling system, provided with a charging connector or fueling nozzle, and an imaging device, uses at least the information about the charging or fueling port and the plurality of positions of the plurality tags to determine a location of the charging or fueling port of the vehicle, to charge or fuel the vehicle.
