  • Publication number: 20050005954
Abstract: A water tank is connected through a high-pressure feed line to one or more washing terminals associated to a surface to be treated. An ozoniser removes oxygen from a tank and transforms it into ozone, which is conveyed to the tank where it is mixed with the water. The ozone is then conveyed to a drying line which takes drying air from the atmosphere and sends it to the surfaces to be treated. The ozone mixes with the drying air, forming a mix which strikes the surfaces of the plant, drying and sterilising them. A secondary sterilising line selectively places the tank in closed-circuit communication with some parts which during normal operation are not crossed by the washing liquid. The invention is particularly suited to the pharmaceutical industry, and enables efficient sterilisation of treated surfaces even where they are not directly contacted by the liquid sprayed from the washing terminals.

  • Patent number: 6702543
Abstract: The device for controlling the movement of skips in machines for granular or powder and liquid treatment machines is of a type where the skip is separable from an overlying treatment chamber, to which it is sealingly couplable and which skip is rotatably supported by a horizontal-axis pivot (2) on a frame (3) mobile on wheels (4). The device comprises at least one hydraulic cylinder (5) provided with a piston (15) comprised between two chambers (25, 35), which cylinder (5) bears a rotating organ (45) coupled in rotation with the pivot (2). The two chambers (25, 35) are interconnected with an interpositioning of at least one regulation valve (6) which on command can regulate the flow of a hydraulic fluid in two directions and can also totally halt the flow.

  • Patent number: 6119968
Abstract: A device for forming and coating solid particles comprises a rotating disc interiorly defining a process chamber and which can assume a rest position in which is interiorly closes the chamber and a working position in which it affords an annular passage through which a process gas is allowed to enter the chamber. A rotary hydraulic motor commands rotation of the disc; two hydraulic linear actuators perform vertical displacement of the disc. Both the motor and the actuators are located immediately below the disc. An especially advantageous use of the device is as a granulator or as a coater of granules.

  • Patent number: 5723160
Abstract: The plant for treating powders or granules enables a considerable simplification of the operation of cleaning the filters, and a more efficient centering of the basket container, and includes a tubular casing coupled in a detachable manner to a cover and a base structure. The tubular casing may be rotatable around a horizontal axis on opposing aligned appendages, and the base structure may include a basket resting on a trolley which can be lifted in a guided manner to couple with the bottom edge of the casing. The plant may be used in a wide variety of industrial applications, in particular in the chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries.
