Abstract: A device to sense degree of twist in a screwdriver and the magnitude of force applied includes a contacting portion, a deformation portion, a sensing portion, and a processor. The contacting portion receives a grip and twist pressure through the deformation portion which is tiltedly fixed to the contacting portion. The deformation portion carries the sensing portion and elastically deforms under the force and/or the torsion. The sensing portion detects a deformation of the deformation portion and generates a corresponding electrical signal. The processor receives the signal and determines the values of the twist caused and the force applied.

Abstract: A communication receiver receives a signal sample stream of an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) signal, splits the signal sample stream into blocks, where each block corresponds to a symbol or a gap of the OFDM signal, determines an estimate of a periodic noise in the OFDM signal by averaging signal samples over a number of blocks, generates a noise-suppressed signal by subtracting the estimate of the periodic noise from the signal sample stream, and performs further receiver-side processing on the noise-suppressed signal.

Abstract: A machine for testing the parts and functions of a mobile phone includes a supporting mechanism, a platform, a receiving portion, and a detecting mechanism. The supporting mechanism is mounted in a box. The platform is slidably mounted on the supporting mechanism. The receiving portion is used to receive the mobile phone. The receiving portion is rotatably mounted on the platform. Devices within the machine are operated to test the mobile phone. A mobile phone testing system used in the testing machine is also described.

The method includes: receiving a control instruction generated by the terminal apparatus; acquiring a display picture on the display device of the terminal apparatus based on the control instruction; and sending the display picture to the wearable device through data connection, so that the wearable device displays the display picture. After the control instruction is generated by the terminal apparatus, the display picture on the display device of the terminal apparatus is sent to the wearable device through the data connection, to display the display picture on the wearable device. Thus, viewing experience different from viewing through the terminal apparatus is provided for a user and the viewing experience for the user is improved.

Abstract: A die cutting apparatus for forming die cuts from paper and other materials includes a metal base plate defining at least one channel therein for receiving at least one blade. The blade has a desired shape to provide a cutting edge with a predetermined contour to substantially match the contour of the at least one channel. The blade is welded to the base plate to secure it relative thereto and extends above the base plate to provide an exposed edge for cutting paper and the like into the predetermined contour. A covering is provided over at least a portion of the back surface of the base plate.
