  • Patent number: 11227196
Abstract: An image collating device that collates a first image and a second image includes a frequency characteristic acquiring unit, a frequency characteristic synthesizing unit, and a determining unit. The frequency characteristic acquiring unit acquires a frequency characteristic of the first image and a frequency characteristic of the second image. The frequency characteristic synthesizing unit generates a synthesized frequency characteristic by synthesizing the frequency characteristic of the first image and the frequency characteristic of the second image. The determining unit calculates a score indicating a degree to which the synthesized frequency characteristic is a wave having a single period, and collates the first image and the second image based on the score.

  • Publication number: 20210312210
Abstract: An object matching device includes an acquiring unit, an extracting unit, and a determining unit. The acquiring unit acquires an image of an object to be matched with a character printed thereon. The extracting unit extracts a partial image of predetermined size including the character as a matching partial image from the image. The determining unit compares the matching partial image with a registration partial image acquired from an object to be registered and registered in advance, and thereby determines an identity of the object to be matched and the object to be registered.

  • Patent number: 11132582
Abstract: When there is an image component common to multiple registered images, the accuracy of individual identification lowers. A decision unit decides, for each partial area, the degree of effectiveness relating to calculation of a score representing a similarity between a registered image obtained by capturing an object to be registered and a collated image obtained by capturing an object to be collated, based on whether or not the partial area contains an image component common to multiple registered images obtained by capturing multiple objects to be registered. A calculation unit calculates the score based on image components contained in the registered image and the collated image and on the degrees of effectiveness.

  • Publication number: 20210256254
Abstract: An image matching device includes a weight determination unit and a matching unit. Based on a synthesized frequency characteristic obtained by synthesizing a frequency characteristic of a first image with a frequency characteristic of a second image and an ideal synthesized frequency characteristic that is an ideal one obtained by synthesizing the frequency characteristic of the first image with the frequency characteristic of the second image, the weight determination unit determines a weight relating to frequency in performing matching of the first image and a third image. The matching unit performs matching of the first image and the third image based on the determined weight.
