    Abstract: The present application relates to a polyether ester polyol, comprising a repeating structure of formula (1) and an end-capped alcohol hydroxyl group. In formula (1), R1 is at least one selected from aromatic rings or heteroaromatic rings, and R1 accounts for 4.5%-44% by mass in the repeating structure of formula (1); R2 is at least one selected from saturated alkyl groups having 2-3 carbon atoms; x is 2-20; the mass percentage of the repeating structure of formula (1) in the polyether ester polyol is greater than 75%; the average functionality of the end-capped alcohol hydroxyl group is 1.95-2.00; the number-average molecular weight of the polyether ester polyol is 800-5000. The polyether ester polyol can be used to prepare polyurethane elastic fibers, non-woven fabrics, films, or elastomers, which enables the production of polyurethane products with lower-cost raw materials while still yielding similar mechanical properties.

    Abstract: A window-based dynamic scrubbing scheduling method is provided. By dynamically scheduling a user task and a scrubbing task, the method can reduce scrubbing conflicts of a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) scrubbing module and scrub each user task in a timely manner as much as possible. The method greatly reduces area and energy consumption overheads of a hardware circuit, and improves system reliability. The method proposes a negotiation-driven scrubbing scheduling algorithm and an integer linear programming (ILP)-based optimization-driven scrubbing scheduling algorithm. Based on global conflict information, the algorithms in the method can scrub more user tasks and improve the system reliability. The method ensures reliability of a mixed-criticality task set system.

A method of cryopreserving a cell includes adding a cell to the cryopreservative composition; freezing the composition; storing the frozen composition; thawing the composition; removing the cell from the thawed composition; and culturing the cell under conditions effective for the cell to remain viable. The freezing may include cooling at a rate of 0.1° C./min to 5° C./min. The method may be performed without a washing step after thawing.

    Abstract: Noise can be reduced in video frames by performing one or more techniques described herein. For example, a system can divide a video frame into a set of blocks, determine a variance associated with a selected block, generate first frequency residuals associated with the selected block, and determine whether the variance is below a predefined threshold. If the variance is below the predefined threshold, the system can adjust an offset to be used during a quantization operation from a first offset value to a second offset value. The system can then apply the quantization operation to the first frequency residuals using the second offset value, to thereby generate second frequency residuals. Using the second offset value during the quantization operation can result in the second frequency residuals having a larger number of zero-valued frequency residuals, which in turn can reduce noise with respect to the selected block.
