    Abstract: Apparatus and associated methods relate to an enhanced auxetic composite material (EACM) of a base thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) and/or a thermoset material combined with an auxetic material, the composite formed with a molding process, where the base material is injected or dripped into or injected, dripped or formed around the auxetic material, the composite material providing higher impact performance than the individual materials. In an illustrative example, combining various energy absorbing materials with auxetic materials may further enhance impact performance. In some examples, TPE material injected into auxetic structures may fill internal voids. In some examples, the auxetic material may be suspended within the TPE material and be encapsulated around the auxetic material form. Auxetic materials may take various forms, for example, sheets, 3-D structures, and particles, each providing unique benefits.

The method comprises: capturing a sequence of graph snapshots of a graph representing the dynamic social network; extracting data features from each graph snapshot; applying a sliding-window statistical analysis on the extracted data features of the sequence of graph snapshots to detect a first set of change points; applying a local outlier factor algorithm on the extracted data features of the sequence of graph snapshots to detect a second set of change points; combining the first and second sets of change points to form an output set of change points for the sequence of graph snapshots. The provided method can effectively handle the high-dimensional complex network data, particularly in dynamic environments, to provide more accurate and comprehensive information.

Each physical host has a respective local resource manager (LRM). The scheduler instances are responsible for initially processing of scheduling and resource allocation for resource requests, and proposing candidate physical hosts (and respective resource allocation) for the resource requests to the GRM. The GRM is responsible for conflict resolution through its general conflict resolvers of filtering, sorting and counting. The GRM decides which physical hosts among the candidate physical hosts will run the runtime instances of the resource requests after resolving conflicts among the scheduler instances.

The method of manufacturing further includes passing the combined filament through a bath. The bath is configured for coagulating the combined filament and extracting a solvent. The method of manufacturing still further includes drying the combined filament via an oven. The method of manufacturing also includes hot-drawing the combined filament. The combined filament is heated during the hot-drawing within the oven and the combined filament generated has anti-bacterial qualities. A corresponding anti-bacterial fiber is also provided.

An early warning method for debris flow disaster in a small watershed is provided, in which parameters of a hydrological model are calibrated by rainfall, evaporation and runoff data of the watershed based on water balance of the watershed, and an early monitoring and warning scheme for debris flows, which takes water storage in the watershed as a core monitoring and evaluation indicator, is established. The GR4J hydrological model is improved by taking into account a watershed area, specific yield of an aquifer and several geological parameters, as well as an evapotranspiration effect of vegetation. A disaster reduction method by means of regulation of a drainage channel can provide a basis for mathematical model simulation studies of disaster reduction in small watersheds.
