Abstract: Methods, apparatuses and electronic devices for generating a feature vector, as well as searching methods, apparatuses and electronic devices are disclosed. The method for generating a feature vector includes: acquiring data information; extracting a semantic feature from the data information, to acquire semantic feature information; and acquiring a feature vector of the data information by using a preset function, with the semantic feature information as a parameter. The technical solution identifies picture information by recognizing semantics of image information and matching the semantics of the image information with natural language descriptions. Different from conventional image search schemes of existing search engines, this technical solution does not need to retrieve a text description of image information, but retrieves and identifies images based on the content of the image information. Therefore, results with higher accuracy may be returned compared with the existing text-based image search.

Abstract: An image processing engine component generation method, and search method, terminal, and system are provided. The image processing engine component includes: an online feature processing component operative to receive an incremental image, and determine image content feature information of the incremental image; an offline feature processing component operative to receive a stock image, and determine image content feature information of the stock image; a search platform component operative to receive a search request, the search request including search text information; and a processing engine component operative to receive image content feature information of the incremental image and the stock image, add the received image content feature information to index tables, and determine search results corresponding to the search text information.

Abstract: A method including normalizing an original image into an intermediate image, the intermediate image including multiple local blocks; calculating image feature data of the local blocks; calculating weight distribution data corresponding to the local blocks in the intermediate image according to the image feature data, the weight distribution data representing a degree of possibility that the local blocks include part or all of an object; and determining a location area of the object in the original image based on the weight distribution data obtained by calculation. By using the technical solutions in this present disclosure, an object in an image is localized rapidly and efficiently, and a subject area is determined, thereby saving a large amount of work for manually labeling images.

Abstract: Embodiments of a water head for an evaporator in a HVAC system are provided. The water head may have a fluid entrance and a fluid exit in a side-by-side arrangement on one end of the water head, and a distribution chamber and a collection chamber in a top-down arrangement on opposite side of the water head. The distribution chamber and the collection chamber are configured to be in fluid communication with inlets and outlets of a heat exchanging tube bundle respectively. The distribution chamber and the collection chamber can be configured to have continuously smooth surface contours to help reduce pressure drop and fluid separation, and promote advantageous distribution of the process fluid among heat exchanging tubes when a process fluid flows between the fluid entrance or the fluid exit, and the distribution chamber or the collection chamber respectively.
