    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an information processing method and apparatus. The method is applied to a terminal device, and comprises: acquiring failure information that the terminal device fails, the failure information comprising service information related to an MBS service executed and/or supported by the terminal device; and sending the failure information to a network side device. In the information processing method provided by the embodiments of the present invention, the failure information sent to the network side device by means of flexible configuration comprises the service information related to the MBS service, so as to allow for the network side device to accurately determine the cause of the failure of the terminal device, thereby more accurately optimizing and adjusting network parameters.

The method includes: obtaining, by the UE, parameter information about a connection problem in the case that the connection problem has been detected by the UE in a cell handover process and cell handover has been performed successfully, or in the case that the connection problem has been detected by the UE within a predetermined time period after the cell handover is performed successfully; and transmitting, by the UE, the parameter information to a network device, so that the network device may determine the MRO critical scenario in accordance with the parameter information. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, it is able to determine the MRO critical scenario in a scenario where cell handover is performed successfully.
