In a light-emitting phase of a driving period of the pixel circuit, a control signal controls the control device to generate a first driving current, and controls the current supplementing device to generate a second driving current. The first driving current and the second driving current are transmitted to a light-emitting unit, and drive the light-emitting unit together for light emission. Currents flowing through the control device and the current supplementing device, respectively, are reduced while meeting a requirement of providing a large driving current to the light-emitting unit.
