    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an electrode component, an electrode assembly and a rechargeable battery. The electrode component includes an electrode body, a conductive structure, and a reinforcement structure. The electrode body includes an insulating substrate and a conductive layer disposed on surfaces of the insulating substrate, the conductive layer includes a first portion coated with an active material and a second portion extending from the first portion and uncoated with the active material. The conductive structure is connected to the second portion. The reinforcement structure reinforces the conductive structure on the second portion. According to the present disclosure, by reinforcing the conductive structure connected to the second portion of the electrode component having the insulating substrate by the reinforcing structure, the reliability of the arrangement of the conductive structure on the second portion can be effectively improved.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a vent for a secondary battery top cover, a top cover assembly, a secondary battery and a vehicle. The vent includes a flat base and a protrusion protruding outward with respect to flat base. The protrusion has a main nick and at least one branch nick connected to at least one end of the main nick. An angle formed between the main nick and the branch nick is more than zero. When the pressure inside the case increases excessively, gas causes stress concentration at the protrusion such that the vent is torn along the main nick and the at least one branch nick, thereby releasing the gas in the case, reducing explosion risk of the secondary battery, and improving safety of the secondary battery.

The resistance member comprises: a heat-resistant insulating base body positioned between the cap plate and the first electrode terminal; and a heat-resistant metal layer provided to the heat-resistant insulating base body. The heat-resistant metal layer and the cap plate and the first electrode terminal are electrically connected to form a conductive path, the conductive path passes along the heat-resistant insulating base body positioned between the cap plate and the first electrode terminal. The formed conductive path is a curved path, therefore the resistance value of the resistance member can be controlled by controlling the conductive path.

    Abstract: The present application provides a secondary battery including a first terminal component, a second terminal component, a cap plate, an electrode component and a resistance element. One of the first and second terminal components is electrically connected to the cap plate through the resistance element, while the other is insulated from the cap plate. The first terminal component includes a connecting plate and a turnable plate, and the connecting plate is attached to the turnable plate. When the secondary battery is in a normal state, a first electrode plate is electrically connected to the connecting plate through the turnable plate, and the second electrode plate is electrically connected to the second terminal component. When a pressure inside the secondary battery exceeds a reference pressure, the turnable plate can turn over to cut off an electrical connection between the turnable plate and the first electrode plate.
