    Abstract: The present invention provides a flat-panel display member comprising a barrier rib on a glass substrate, wherein the barrier rib contains a low softening point glass as a main component, the barrier rib contains a low softening point glass and the barrier rib is composed of at least two layers, and also a low softening point glass, which is a main component of the uppermost layer of the barrier rib, has an elastic modulus of 80 GPa or less. According to the present invention, the destruction of the barrier rib, which may cause non-lighting or abnormal lighting of discharge cells, has been suppressed.
