  • Patent number: 7966044
Abstract: A medium storing a program for display control. When the program is executed by a computer realized in a mobile terminal, the mobile terminal operates as follows. An area-information storing unit stores information on a first display area of an external display device and a second display area of a built-in display. A screen-data production unit acquires content to be displayed, and produces screen data corresponding to the first display area. An entire-image display unit divides the screen data into partial areas each corresponding to the second display area, adds to the entire screen data area-display data indicating the extent of each partial area and a corresponding identifier, and displays the screen data on the external display device. On receipt of an identifier, a partial-image display unit extracts a portion of the screen data for a partial area corresponding to the identifier, and displays the portion on the built-in display.

  • Publication number: 20080224950
Abstract: A computer program and apparatus for display control, which are capable of allowing a user to easily know the positional relationships among a plurality of display devices in the case where he/she uses the plurality of display devices to display content. An area information memory stores information on the display areas of display devices. An identification information memory stores a plurality of identification information. When information including the number of display devices to be used and content to be displayed is entered, a creating unit creates display data so as to match an entire usable display area. A dividing unit divides the display data into a plurality of partial display data according to the display areas of the display devices, and adds identification information to sides that are adjacent to other partial display data, out of the sides of the plurality of partial display data. An output unit outputs the obtained partial display data to the display devices.

  • Publication number: 20050191055
Abstract: An arrayed wavelength converter comprises a demultiplexing section that demultiplexes an input WDM signal light to output the demultiplexed lights, and a multiple wavelength conversion waveguide array in which the optical signals of respective wavelengths output from the demultiplexing section are given respectively to a plurality of waveguides formed in parallel on a substrate made of ferroelectric crystal. The multiple wavelength conversion waveguide array has a periodic polarization structure formed by periodically providing polarization inversion regions in which a polarization direction of the substrate is inversed, in a direction approximately perpendicular to a traveling direction of lights being propagated along the respective waveguides, and this is set such that a period of the periodic polarization structure is made different for each waveguide. As a result, it becomes possible to perform wavelength conversion of a plurality of optical signals at high efficiency with a simple structure.
