Abstract: A wireless medical device, a central monitoring station, and a wireless medical monitoring system and method are disclosed. The system has a wireless medical device, a wireless access point, a wireless control unit and a central monitoring station, wherein the wireless medical device and the central monitoring station access a wireless network through the wireless access point and communicate with each other through the wireless network. The wireless medical device collects and processes at least one physiological parameter signal of a patient to obtain physiological data of the patient, and can also monitor network state information of the wireless access point to obtain first network state information; the wireless medical device sends the physiological data and the first network state information to the central monitoring station through the wireless network; and the central monitoring station at least displays the physiological data and stores the first network state information.
