Abstract: In a computer-implemented method for running a child application within a parent application on a terminal, a service page including a child application identifier is displayed via the parent application. In response to a user operation on the child application identifier, a request to run the child application is initiated. In response to the request, a compiled package corresponding to the child application identifier is obtained via a virtual server. The compiled package is parsed to obtain file data associated with the child application. The child application is run in the parent application based on the file data.
