    Abstract: Calcium resinates and printing inks containing the resinates are described. The printing inks consist of a pigment dispersed in a volatile hydrocarbon solution of a resinous binder wherein said binder comprises(a) limed rosin,(b) a substantially linear, polymeric, polycarboxylic acid, and(c) a reactive hydrocarbon resin.
