Abstract: A wire pulling grip includes a main body, at least one cable-engaging jaw connected to the main body, and at least one cable-engaging surface included on the at least one cable-engaging jaw. A coating is disposed at least partially along the at least one cable-engaging surface, the coating including a plurality of surface protrusions arranged and configured to plastically deform an elastic cable jacket without slipping or tearing when a cable having the elastic cable jacket is engaged by the at least one cable-engaging jaw.

Abstract: A fall restrict device is disclosed. The fall restrict device may include an outer strap having first and second ends, an inner strap having first and second ends, a first releasable connector connected substantially adjacent to the first end of the inner strap, a second releasable connector connected to the second end of the inner strap, and a fastening mechanism releasably secured to the second end of the outer strap for connecting the outer strap to the inner strap. The fastening mechanism includes a carabiner, a link attached to a roller that is moveable along the inner strap, and a plate. The fall restrict device may also include a first adjustment mechanism for adjusting the outer strap and a second adjustment mechanism for adjusting the inner strap. The first adjustment mechanism may comprise a buckle and the second adjustment mechanism may comprise a bracket assembly. The inner strap may comprise a polyamide webbing surrounded by a flexible polymer coating.

Abstract: An offset tape measuring tool marked with standard English measurements includes integrated indicia for quick determination of distance between bends for a given offset depth and offset angle when installing conduit. Additional indicia may be included for the measurement of the shrinkage of the conduit with respect to the specified offset depths and angles. The integrated invention may be part of a standard tape measure strip to provide a convenient multi-purpose tool. Although the tool eliminates any external calculations or table reference typically necessary when bending conduit to clear an obstacle, it still provides an optional reference card for unique bends.

Abstract: A method for insulating hand tools includes the application of a first and a second coating of protective insulating material along the handle of the tool. Inserting the end of the handle into a heat shrinkable end cap and providing heat to the cap to shrink it and thus seal the end of the tool. The added protection this end cap provides is both as an additional insulation as well as an increase in the impact strength of the tool.
