  • Patent number: 6512015
Abstract: This invention relates to silicone foam control compositions comprising a silicone antifoam agent, mineral oil, a polydiorganosiloxane containing at least one polyoxyalkylene group, and a finely divided filler. The foam control compositions of this invention can be advantageously utilized to control foam in foam producing systems, provide improvement in the control of foaming behavior, and are stable and easily dispersible.

  • Patent number: 6399559
Abstract: This invention relates to organosilyl peroxide compounds which are stable in aqueous systems and are used for bleaching and cleaning applications. More particularly, this invention is concerned with the stability of bis(organosilyl)peroxides when formulated in aqueous and non-aqueous delivery systems. The liquid detergents containing the organosilyl peroxide compounds of this invention exhibit excellent bleaching performance and stain removal properties on fabrics at typical low wash temperatures.

  • Patent number: 5914362
Abstract: A silicone-based antifoam composition, in the form of an emulsion, is prepared from the reaction of (A) a primary silicone composition and (B) a polydiorganosiloxane having condensable terminal groups in a nonpolar organic medium selected from the group consisting of polyisobutylene and mineral oil. The reaction of the primary silicone composition (A) and the polydiorganosiloxane (B) produces a secondary silicone composition, which forms the discontinuous phase of the emulsion and the nonpolar organic medium forms the continuous phase of the emulsion. The resulting composition of the invention exhibits antifoam efficacy greater than that of the primary silicone composition.
