  • Patent number: 11938191
Abstract: Described herein are block copolymers, and methods of making and utilizing such copolymers. The described block copolymers are disruptive of a cellular membrane, including an extracellular membrane, an intracellular membrane, a vesicle, an organelle, an endosome, a liposome, or a red blood cell. Preferably, in certain instances, the block copolymer disrupts the membrane and enters the intracellular environment. In specific examples, the block copolymer is endosomolytic and capable of delivering an oligonucleotide (e.g., an mRNA) to a cell. Compositions comprising a block copolymer and an oligonucleotide (e.g., an mRNA) are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 7005064
Abstract: A method and apparatus for remediating wastewater holding areas and the like includes a closed, foraminous dewatering membrane that is positioned adjacent to the wastewater holding area. Sludge and adjacent water on the bottom of the wastewater holding area are pumped in the form of a sludge slurry into the interior of the dewatering membrane. The water is removed from the sludge slurry by allowing gravitational forces to flow water through the dewatering membrane. The dewatering membrane is then opened, and the dewatered sludge is removed for depositing at an appropriate site.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for remediating waster water holding areas and the like includes a closed, foraminous dewatering membrane that is positioned adjacent to the wastewater holding area. Sludge and adjacent water on the bottom of the wastewater holding area are pumped in the form of a sludge slurry into the interior of the dewatering membrane. The water is removed from the sludge slurry by allowing gravitational forces to flow water through the dewatering membrane. • Patent number: 4428436
Abstract: A manually manipulable tool movable along a linear index to create a trench for planting seeds at a spaced distance from the index. The depth of the trench and its spacing from an index are adjustably variable. The device may be indexed from either side and may create an additional indexing indicia at a spaced distance from the seed trench created.

  • Patent number: 4338724
Abstract: A series of flat templates, each having a peripheral shape of a hole required in a wall panel, that may be releasably positioned on a utility fixture to be serviced by the hole. The panel facing side of each template is provided with an adhesive so that if a wall panel that is ultimately to define a hole to service a utility fixture is positioned against the template it will releasably adhere to the panel to determine position and configuration of the hole to be established. The template adhesive is of a form that may be reused and replaced.
