  • Publication number: 20140324043
Abstract: An electrode assembly for a catheter system has a longitudinal axis, a proximal end and a distal end. Multiple struts extend coextensively with each other from the proximal end to the distal end of the electrode assembly. Each strut carries an electrode spaced longitudinally from the proximal end of the electrode assembly. The longitudinal spacing of one electrode from the proximal end of the electrode assembly is different from the longitudinal spacing of another electrode from the proximal end of the electrode assembly. The electrode assembly is configurable between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration, with the electrodes being transversely spaced from the longitudinal axis of the electrode assembly a greater distance in the expanded configuration than in the collapsed configuration. In the expanded configuration, the electrodes are transversely spaced from the longitudinal axis of the electrode assembly approximately the same distance.

  • Publication number: 20140215886
Abstract: A device for aiding in the retention and drawing of ammunition magazines is disclosed. This invention does two things that previous ammunition magazine draw devices do not do. First, this invention is designed so that when an individual uses the invention to draw a magazine from its pouch, the magazine is drawn into the palm of the hand, providing a more solid and more comfortable grasp on the magazine. Second, this invention is equipped with a built-in retention feature. The device also features a hook shaped handle which is designed to protrude from the side of a magazine and easily catch a persons finger, making it faster than devices currently available on the market.

  • Publication number: 20140157606
Abstract: The present invention relates to a lightweight knife. Conventional knives are made of steel and other heavy materials. While metal knives provide excellent strength and cutting ability, they can be heavy, which adds weight to an individual's load, pack, kit, or supplies on their person. Previous attempts to produce a lightweight knife have focused on replacing steel with lightweight materials. Plastic knives are light and have been produced, but do not provide an effective, sharp cutting edge. The present invention uses plastic insertion molding technology to imbed a partial steel blade in an otherwise plastic knife, significantly reducing overall weight while still providing a strong, effective cutting edge.
