  • Patent number: 11590278
Abstract: The present invention is directed to an adjustable pressure injection device system for delivering an agent into a tree, comprising at least two fill bottles for containing the agent; a cap attached to the open end of the bottles, the cap comprising at least two ports and an on/off valve; a main line connected to the cap through a port, wherein the agent flows out of the bottle and into the main line; a parallel distribution system (PDS) connected to the main line, wherein the PDS comprises multiple ports, each port either being closed or connected to an injection line, and further wherein the PDS is optionally expandable by combining a PDS with additional PDS units; at least 2 injection lines connected to the PDS through the PDS ports, and an injection needle attached to each injection line, wherein the agent flows through the injection needle into the tree.

  • Patent number: 9873639
Abstract: The invention is directed to compositions comprising at least one agricultural biomass, at least one nitrogen source, at least one organic acid and at least one active agent wherein the agricultural biomass is impregnated with about 5% wt to about 45% wt of the active agent. Methods of their preparation and methods of use are also described. The composition effectively reduces the leaching of, and facilitates the metering of, loaded active agents for plant protection.

  • Patent number: 8735746
Abstract: A method for operating a weighing apparatus and system contemplates that the system is operated in a ratio of two modes of operation, including a first, non-sampling mode, and a second, sampling mode. Operating in the first mode, wherein verification of a dose weight is not effected, promotes high cycle rates. Operation in the second, sampling mode requires operation at a slower cycle rate, but permits optimization of the accuracy of the overall weighing process. Operation in the two modes of operation, and adjustment of the ratio of the modes of operation, promotes optimization of weighing accuracy and cycle speeds.
