  • Publication number: 20240081172
Abstract: A seeding apparatus includes an implement frame and front and rear frame members are pivotally mounted to the implement and furrow openers mounted to each. In an operating position the front and rear furrow openers are engaged in the ground and separated by an operating distance, and can be raised to an idle position where the furrow openers are above the ground and the front and rear furrow openers are separated by an idle distance that is greater than the operating distance. The implement frame has an inner wing pivotally attached to a center frame, and an outer wing pivotally attached to the inner wing. The inner wing section pivots upward and the outer wing section pivots downward supported by a transport wheel. When in the transport position the inner and outer wing sections extend upward from the center frame section and the transport wheel is above the ground.

  • Publication number: 20240065187
Abstract: An irrigation system having a pipeline supported by one or more towers includes an improved truss connection system having a means for readily adjusting a crown height of the pipeline. A pair of cooperating members define a joint which selectively couples headed ends of adjacent truss rods together to form a truss rail of a truss system that supports the pipeline. A single fastener may fasten the cooperating members, a strut, and a cross-member together at the joint. A length of the truss rail may be decreased by holding the truss rods closer together. In an aspect, the headed ends of the adjacent truss rods are held closer together by inserting a shim in one of the joints. Decreasing the length of the truss rail increases the deflection of the pipeline and raises the crown height.

  • Patent number: 11856075
Abstract: Representational state transfer (REST) based geo-aware content transfer includes a REST server configured for receiving an application programming interface (API) request from a client device. The REST server obtains a upload universal resource locator (URL) targeting a caching server that is geographically closest to the client device, constructs an upload link containing the upload URL and a completion callback, and sends the upload link to the client device. The client device uses the upload URL to upload content to the caching server. The caching server interprets the completion callback to obtain a completion URL and, upon completion of content uploading, makes a REST API call using the completion URL. Responsive to the REST API call, the REST server executes an inbound operation to complete the uploading to a content management system and returns the content URL to the caching server which sends the content URL to the client device.

  • Patent number: 11849675
Abstract: A header for a crop harvester includes side drapers having a front edge adjacent the cutter bar and carrying crop to a discharge end roller at a center feed draper. A support arrangement carries the rear end of the discharge end roller to define an operating position in which an axis of the discharge end roller is at an angle to an axis of the outer end roller of the side draper with the rear end of the discharge end roller at a height below a height of the rear end of the outer end roller. This provides a main portion of the belt that lies in a common plane defined by an intermediate guide member and the outer end roller and a smaller portion of the draper belt between the guide member and the rear end of the discharge end roller which is twisted downwardly from the common plane.

  • Patent number: 11606903
Abstract: A header for a crop harvesting machine includes front and rear wheel arrangements that pivot about respective upright axis between a field orientation and a perpendicular transport orientation, while having respective suspensions arrangements movable between different suspended heights. A biasing spring provides lift assist to carry weight of the wheel arrangement during adjustment of the suspension elevation while being isolated from the suspension once set at any one elevation. The front wheel arrangement includes an anti-rotation latch that locks the front wheel in the field orientation automatically upon disconnection of a hitch arm. A second wheel of the rear wheel arrangement can be held in a raised position relative to a first wheel in a field orientation. Load bearing surfaces between the suspended rear wheels and the header frame abut one another when latching to the header frame to isolate the suspension from the header frame in the transport orientation.

  • Patent number: 11602525
Abstract: The present invention provides transglutaminase-mediated antibody-drug conjugates with high anti-body-drug ratio (DAR) comprising 1) glutamine-containing tags, endogenous glutamines, and/or endogenous glutamines made reactive by antibody engineering or an engineered transglutaminase (e.g., with altered substrate specifity); and 2) amine donor agents comprising amine donor units, linkers, and agent moieties, wherein the DAR is at least about 5. The invention also provides methods of making and methods of using such higher drug loaded antibody-drug conjugates.

  • Patent number: 11564350
Abstract: A header is supported by a pair of hydraulic float cylinders, where a float pressure to the cylinders is directly controlled by an electronic control supplying a variable control signal to a PPRR valve arrangement to maintain the float pressure at a predetermined value. At the set pressure a predetermined lifting force is provided to the header. A position sensor is used to generate an indication of movement and/or acceleration and/or velocity. The electronic control is arranged, in response to changes in the sensor signal, to temporarily change the control signal to vary the lifting force and thus change the dynamic response of the hydraulic float cylinder. A lift force greater than that required to lift the header can be provided by a lift cylinder and can be opposed in a controlled manner to apply a controlled downforce by the back of the same cylinder or by a separate component.

  • Patent number: 11498174
Abstract: A welder guard system is disclosed. According to various embodiments of the concepts and technologies described herein, the welder guard system can include a base and a lid attached to the base. The welder guard system can also include a safety switch system having an actuating device and a sensing device. The actuating device can be attached to the lid of the welder guard system and can provide a wireless signal. The sensing device can cause a welding device to prevent a welding jaw of the welding device from closing in response to activation of a clamping operation of the welding device when the sensing device fails to receive the wireless signal provided by the actuating device.

  • Patent number: 11432462
Abstract: In a crop harvesting machine there is provided a pair of hydraulic float cylinders or springs for a header such as a rotary mower relative to a self-propelled vehicle, where a float spring force is controlled to provide a predetermined lifting force is provided to the header. The spring force is varied in response to detection of ground speed to decrease the lifting force at higher ground speeds. A position sensor is used to generate an indication of movement and/or acceleration. The electronic control is arranged, in response to changes in the sensor signal, to temporarily change the control signal to vary the lifting force and thus change the dynamic response of the hydraulic float cylinder. In order to reduce static friction so that the system can react quickly, an arrangement is provided for causing relative reciprocating movement in an alternating wave pattern between the piston and cylinder.
