Abstract: A heating apparatus, in particular for recreational vehicles like campers or caravans, comprises a heating unit and two separate heat exchanging units, which are coupled to the heating unit in parallel with each other. The heating unit comprises one burner for each heat exchanging unit and one common single combustion air fan unit. The single combustion air fan unit is configured to supply both burners with combustion air, and the burners are configured to burn fuel gas or liquid further supplied to each of the burners together with the combustion air received from the single combustion air fan unit to get hot exhaust gasses. The heat exchanging units are configured to receive the exhaust gasses from the burners, and to transfer heat from the exhaust gasses to fluids to be heated, provided within the heat exchanging units. Furthermore, the present invention refers to a recreational vehicle with such a heating apparatus and methods for heating two distinct fluids with the above heating apparatus.

  • Patent number: 10776748
Abstract: Communications are received from a transportation service provider and are parsed for data indicating capacity data. The data is then matched to a stored format for capacity data and the parsed data is extracted from the data matched to the stored format to a preferred data format, and reviewed to determine if the stored data reflects capacity indicated by the received communication. The data is then combined with preference data and performance data concerning the transportation service data and used to automatically match a demand for transportation services with the capacity to provide the transportation services.

  • Patent number: 10282694
Abstract: Transportation services are matched with demand, in multiple segments in accordance with capabilities and business practices of a transportation service provider. A request for transportation services is received, including an origin, destination and a characterization of a load or service. Origin and destination geographical areas or locations are identified, and a main line segment and at least one distinct segment are identified to form a contiguous multi-segment routing. A transportation service provider is matched to the specified demand for transportation services, in order to comply with the scheduled sequence. One or more competitive bids are aggregated to provide a total bid price and provision of the transportation services are arranged using the candidate service interests winning the bid or bids.

  • Patent number: 10074065
Abstract: Transportation services are matched with a specified demand for transportation services. Categories of transportation services met by capabilities of the transportation service provider are determined, along with preference data concerning the transportation service provider, in which non-user-defined preference data is at least partially obtained by machine learning. Candidate service interest is used to match the transportation service provider to the specified demand for transportation services. Competitive bids are obtained to meet a specified demand for transportation services, and the transportation service provider is offered inclusion in the competitive bids based on the candidate service interest.

  • Patent number: 9996814
Abstract: Matches for load or transportation services with transportation service providers (TSPs) are established, and estimated arrival times are provided. A transportation service request is arranged and an estimate of time of arrival is made based on an estimation of a time for performing a delivery of the load or provide the transportation service, and the time of arrival estimate is adjusted by at least one external factor expected to affect transit time. An anticipated turn-around time for availability of the TSP is made for a subsequent leg or backhaul and the adjusted time of arrival estimate and the anticipated turn-around time are used to estimate a time of availability of the TSP for the subsequent leg or backhaul. An accepted bid for the subsequent leg or backhaul is made based on an estimated time of availability.

  • Patent number: 9691091
Abstract: Matches for transportation services with transportation service providers (TSPs) and providing tracking are combined with an option for location tracking of the load or transportation service. Bids are accepted for transportation services and, on acceptance, a request is made for the TSP or driver “opt-in” to location tracking through a mobile device. The system automatically communicates with the driver to confirm acceptance of mobile telephone tracking (opt-in) and location tracking is initiated. The location is reported according to a threshold, along with updated estimates of pick-up and of completion of delivery. The tracking provides substantially a “24/7” access to the location and updated estimated completion of delivery. Upon completion of delivery, the tracking is terminated (automatic opt-out).
