  • Publication number: 20150221056
Abstract: In some embodiments, a structure for a course identifies a set of tasks for a user to perform to complete the course. Input from a user can identify a target pacing parameter, such as a target course completion date. A pacing engine can generate a pacing chart based on the target pacing parameter, where the pacing chart identifies a schedule for completing the tasks that will allow the user to meet the target pacing parameter. The user's progress with regard to task completions is monitored, and the pacing chart is dynamically adjusted (e.g., by rescheduling tasks) to reflect new scheduling that will allow the user to meet the target pacing parameter in view of past actual progress.
