  • Publication number: 20070233139
Abstract: A surgical jig for preparing a distal end of a femur during an orthopedic procedure comprising an engagement surface that accommodates at least a part of at least one of a patella and patella tendon.
    Type: Application

  • Publication number: 20070173848
Abstract: A jig includes a main body with at least one tool guide portion and a referencing member. The main body includes an adjusting member which acts between the main body and the referencing member to move the main body relative to the bone.
    Type: Application
    Filed: July 27, 2004
    Publication date: July 26, 2007
    Applicant: Biomet UK Limited

  • Patent number: 6623526
Abstract: A knee prosthesis comprises, in combination, a tibial component, a femoral component and two meniscal components. One of the meniscal components is configured to co-operate with the tibial component such that relative movement therebetween is prevented. The other meniscal component is configured to co-operate with the tibial component such that limited relative movement therebetween is allowed. The tibial component has two fixed bollards projecting upwardly from an upper surface thereof. The two bollards have annular outwardly extending portions engageable in corresponding recesses in the one meniscal component in a snap fit manner.

  • Patent number: 6377050
Abstract: A borehole tool for logging resistivity of geologic formations, having at least two inner transmitters surrounded by at least two outer receivers. Each transmitter is sequentially excited, and measurements are taken at each of the receivers. The phase differences between these received signals are determined, once for each transmitter, and the two values are averaged to estimate the resistivity value of the surrounding formations. More than two receivers can be used. An azimuthal receiver array is also used to identify boundary transitions.
