  • Patent number: 7931245
Abstract: A plate holder that attaches a dish to a structure using a suction device. The plate holder includes a three sided “C-shaped structure” that can be made of various hard materials and is composed of a top arm, a side arm, and a bottom arm. On the outer-end or the top arm is a notch or hole through which attaches a suction device facing upward that holds a dish so that it is not spilled by a child, handicapped person, wind, or movement of the structure. A circular protective skirt on the top arm sits just below the suction device and serves to balance the plate on the table. On the bottom arm is a hole through which runs a plastic screw with a handle on the outside used to secure and tighten the plate holder to the table. It can be adjusted for different structures by screwing or unscrewing.

  • Publication number: 20100163695
Abstract: A plate holder that easily and firmly attaches to tables and various other structures and by the use of a suction device can hold most plates and bowls. The plate holder includes a three sided structure with right angles, or a squared “C-shaped structure”. The C-shaped structure can be made of hard, unbreakable plastic, wood, metal, or other materials. The C-shaped structure makes up a top arm, a side arm, and a bottom arm. On the top arm at the outer-end there is notch or hole through which attaches a suction device. The suction device is large enough to provide the necessary suction to hold on to most plates and bowls. The suction of the suction device is easily released by an adult, but securely holds a plate or another article so that it is not easily spilled or dislodged by a child, a handicapped person, by wind, or by movement of the structure.

  • Publication number: 20030092453
Abstract: A remote wireless intercom and other devices for communicating with a cordless telephone system are disclosed. The remote wireless intercom includes a transmitter, a receiver, a speaker, a microphone, a battery interface, and a housing which carries these components. A method of communicating between the remote wireless intercom and a cordless telephone device involves the steps of detecting an intercom voice communication request at the remote wireless intercom; wirelessly transmitting the intercom voice communication request from the remote wireless intercom to the a cordless telephone device; and engaging the remote wireless intercom in an intercom voice communication session with the cordless telephone device after transmitting the intercom voice communication request. Preferably, the cordless telephone device is a cordless base station and the intercom voice communication session takes place between the remote wireless intercom and a cordless telephone.

  • Publication number: 20030054842
Abstract: A method of simultaneously communicating voice and data on the same channel in an analog cordless telephone system involves generating an analog signal from an audible voice signal during a cordless telephone call; generating a frequency shift keying (FSK) signal from digital data having a nominal frequency of about 20 KHz; summing the analog signal and the FSK signal to produce a composite analog and digital signal; modulating a radio frequency (RF) carrier with the composite analog and digital signal to produce a modulated RF carrier; and transmitting the modulated RF carrier.

  • Patent number: 6497570
Abstract: A gas control assembly for a forced air furnace which includes a support frame having a top surface and two contiguous side walls which define an enclosure. A planar one piece burner assembly which has a plurality of burners and having two opposite side edges with one edge containing indexing means is positioning in a predetermined location within the enclosure of the support frame. A elongated gas manifold having a closed end and an open end which is configured to mate with the burner assembly to provide a source of combustible fuel to each of said burners is connected in fixed engagement to the support frame at its closed end through a hole in one side of said support frame and by a bracket at the open end which is attached to the other side of said support frame. The side walls of the support frame also contain slots which mate with edges of the burner assembly to provide for proper alignment of the burner assembly.

  • Patent number: 5715769
Abstract: A generally cylindrical simulated boat fender or bumper is provided that has an approximate width to length ratio of 1:3 to allow the device to be used in combination with an existing fender holder or holders mounted on a marine vessel. The device is preferably constructed from a molded polyethylene and has a removable lid. In the preferred embodiment-the lid attachment is of the bayonet type and has a pair of recessed apertures to receive the fingers of the user, but other types of attachment and handle means are discussed. To aid in simulating the appearance of a standard fender or bumper, the device includes a plurality of longitudinally disposed protruding ribs along its outer body, has a smooth rounded base distal the lid and opening, and may include a deep recess or recesses proximate the central longitudinal axis of the apparatus to counterfeit the rope holes on the authentic item.
