    Abstract: Techniques for transaction quantity control are provided. A transaction having multiple purchases for a same item type and having an adjustment in price is identified. An analysis on an adjustment condition results in dynamic splitting a line entry for the item into multiple sets, each set reflect a different aspect of the adjustment condition and a quantity identifier; and the sets together completely representing the adjustment condition.
