In some examples, wastewater generated by the industrial textile washer undergoes various treatment processes, such as chemical treatments (e.g., addition of flocculants, chelating agents) and/or physical separation treatments (e.g., processing in a dissolved air floatation system to remove particulates). This can generate a clarified wastewater. One or more sensors can be positioned to measure characteristics of the clarified wastewater, such as the color of the clarified wastewater and corresponding tendency to stain textile articles if recycled to the washer.
