  • Publication number: 20190325675
Abstract: Methods and systems for displaying information derived from identification documents associated with individuals are disclosed. In some embodiments, the system first scans or retrieves identification information from an identification document. The system then receives information of an issuer of the identification document, information of a current location of the identification document, and information of a proposed use of the identification information. The system then receives a set of rules from a database based on the information of the issuer, the current location, and the proposed use. Based on the set of rules, the system processes the retrieved identification information so as to form redacted or processed identification information. The system then displays the redacted identification information.
    Type: Application

  • Publication number: 20170270628
Abstract: A system and methods for analyzing information from identification documents is disclosed. The system initially scans or retrieves identification information from an identification document associated with an individual or an item. The system then receives an indication of a search strategy for the received information. The search strategy indicates an identity of databases that are to be searched. The system then determines a query format of a database where the system can perform a search associated with the identification document. The system generates a query based on the determined query format and transmits the query to the database. The system receives a search result from the database and analyzes the search result. The analyzed search result is transmitted to a user device and is presented as an alert to a user. The alert includes a threat level of the individual or a status of the item.
