  • Patent number: 9797116
Abstract: A system and process of controlling a hydraulic system in a work machine includes determining if an operation of the hydraulic system of the work machine meets a predetermined criteria with a controller, and operating a drain valve of the hydraulic system such that there is a minimum flow from a hydraulic pump to a drain if the operation of the hydraulic system of the work machine does not meet the predetermined criteria via the controller. The system and process further operating the drain valve of the hydraulic system such that there is a limited flow from the hydraulic pump to the drain if the operation of the hydraulic system of the work machine meets the predetermined criteria via the controller such that the predetermined criteria comprises at least a predetermined time period T since the work implement system of the work machine has been operated.

  • Publication number: 20160031499
Abstract: A hydraulic drive system may include a hydraulic motor and a drive sprocket. The hydraulic drive system may also include a torsional isolation member that is operably connected between the hydraulic motor and the drive sprocket. The torsional isolation member may be configured to operably disconnect the hydraulic motor from the drive sprocket when the drive sprocket reaches a predetermined torque load.

  • Publication number: 20140165546
Abstract: A system and method for controlling fluid flow through a hydraulic valve in a work machine is disclosed. The system and method may include receiving an input command by a controller configured to control a fluid flow to an actuator, the input command generated by an input controller. The system and method may also include receiving a parameter indicative of pump flow by the controller, determining a first valve command corresponding to the input command and determining a second valve command based upon the parameter that achieves the fluid flow to the actuator corresponding to the first valve command.
