  • Patent number: 6919795
Abstract: Method and an apparatus for registering and supervision of the positions and time of storage of articles entered into a cabinet or other delimited space. A preferred fields of application is refrigerators in which one or several cameras at selected occasions take pictures of the interior of the refrigerator. These pictures are treated in an image analyzer which transfers clear pictures of all articles stored on each shelf in the refrigerator to a computer for registration. In the computer there is stored for each article information on the time of entry in a list containing article denominations. For distance communication the computer can be connected to a central computer having information about all articles marketed on a national basis and including both pictures and denominations.

  • Publication number: 20040020510
Abstract: The invention refers to a method and an arrangement for cleaning of porous materials, in particular textiles, in liquid carbon dioxide which by rapid, intermittent pressure drops is brought into boiling. Various ways of lowering and then again increasing the pressure in the chamber in which the cleaning takes place are described. The arrangement for carrying out the method comprises a pressure chamber (1) in which the goods (2) to be washed is treated, an adjacent container (13, 14) for the control of the carbon dioxide pressure in the pressure chamber (1), suitably a storage tank (7) for liquid carbon dioxide, a compressor (20) for supplying high-pressure gas into the pressure chamber, when necessary, a pump (10) for the transport of liquid carbon dioxide and the required connecting conduits between the volume vessels mentioned and, stop valves in these conduits.

Abstract: The invention refers to a method and an apparatus for registering and supervision of the positions and time of storage of articles entered into a cabinet or other delimited space. A preferred fields of application is refrigerators in which one or several cameras (3) at selected occasions take pictures of the interior of the refrigerator (1). These pictures are treated in an image analyser (6) which transfers clear pictures of all articles stored on each shelf (4) in the refrigerator (1) to a computer (5) for registration. In the computer (5) there is stored for each article information on the time of entry in a list containing article denominations. For distance communication the computer (5) can be connected to a central computer (9) having information about all articles marketed on a national basis and including both pictures and denominations.

  • Patent number: 6585781
Abstract: A combined machine for washing and drying textiles comprises a wash liquor tub, which contains an inner drum rotatably provided and supporting the textiles during the washing and drying processes and having a volume adapted to requirements relating to the wash process, water supply means for supplying water into the tub, means for the supply of detergents, water draining means for draining washing and rinsing liquid from the tub, and means for driving a moisture absorbing gaseous medium in a closed loop past the textiles in the inner drum. The moisture absorbing gaseous medium, which consists of dry superheated steam, and compressor means are provided to compress part of the steam diverted from the closed loop and lead it to heat exchanger means provided to condense the compressed steam and return the heat released during the condensing process to the steam in the closed loop.

  • Publication number: 20030004814
Abstract: The invention concerns a procedure and an arrangement for attendance-free retail trade. The arrangement comprises a space (2) closed by a door (4) and provided for the exposure of goods (6). Within the space cameras (7) are present for registering of take-outs, and these cameras send the pictures taken to an image processing unit (9), which supplies inventory lists to a central computer (10).

  • Patent number: 5473901
Abstract: Heat insulation is provided for a refrigerator or freezer. The insulation includes a closed cell material, which is placed in a hermetically closed space (13) surrounded by a diffusion-tight shell. The space communicates with a vacuum source, and a gas diffuses through the cells five times faster than air gasses. The material does not achieve its full insulating properties until the refrigerator has been used.

  • Patent number: 5361598
Abstract: This invention relates to an electric refrigerator or freezer. The cabinet comprises one or several hermetically sealed heat insulated spaces (14) which are wall or door panels of the cabinet. The space or spaces communicate with a vacuum creating device (18) via an evacuation conduit (17). A vacuum creating device is a permanently installed unit in the cabinet which is arranged to be activated when or after the cabinet has been installed by the user of the cabinet. After a long period of running the vacuum device creates a suitable underatmospheric pressure in the space or spaces (14).

  • Patent number: 4289112
Abstract: A solar collector device is placed on a floating insulating lid of a rreservoir containing a heat storing liquid. The solar collector device comprises lens means which concentrate incident solar radiation to focal points or focal lines rear or at the lid, and the lid has apertures through which the focus portions of the radiation beams pass with snug clearance. Transparent evaporation preventing diaphragms seal the appertures. Electricity generating semi-transparent solar cells may be arranged in the apertures, whereby incident solar radiation partly produces electricity, partly heats the liquid, and whereby the liquid cools the cells. In the case the lens means comprise axially elongated lenses in parallel with the lid and the apertures are slots, aligned with the lens axes, the lid is rotatable whereby to maintain the lens axes, the slots and the sun radiation in one and the same plane during day time.

  • Patent number: 4227511
Abstract: There is provided a solar collector apparatus comprising a rotatable platen supporting a solar collector, means for rotating the platen such that the solar collector follows the wandering of the sun, said solar collector comprising a plurality of elongated parallel sun radiation concentrators, each concentrator being associated with an elongated conduit which is arranged to be subjected to the radiation concentrated by the concentrator, and pump and control means for circulating a liquid through the conduits via a liquid magazine, the concentrators being located on the platen with their longitudinal axes aligned in the vertical plane of the solar direction, said means for rotating the platen being adapted to maintain such alignment of the concentrators.
