  • Publication number: 20250098942
Abstract: A method includes displaying visual guidance for guiding a user through an endoscopic camera calibration process. The visual guidance guides the user to direct an endoscopic camera at a plurality of different regions of a field of calibration markers. Images captured by the endoscopic camera while the user directs the endoscopic camera at the calibration markers are received. Suitability of images for use in calibration for the endoscopic camera is determined. In accordance with determining that at least one image is suitable for use in calibration, the visual guidance is updated to indicate to the user that the respective region of the plurality of different regions of the field of calibration markers has been successfully imaged. Calibration factors for calibrating the endoscopic camera are determined based on images determined to be suitable for use in calibration for the endoscopic camera.

  • Publication number: 20230190139
Abstract: A method of generating a measurement of anatomy of interest from two-dimensional imaging includes receiving two-dimensional imaging associated with anatomy of interest; detecting a plurality of anatomical features of the anatomy of interest in the two-dimensional imaging using at least one machine learning model; determining characteristics of the plurality of anatomical features based on the detection of the plurality of anatomical features; and generating at least one measurement of the anatomy of interest based on at least some of the characteristics of the plurality of anatomical features.

  • Publication number: 20210259774
Abstract: A method for guiding bone removal during a surgical procedure includes receiving a two-dimensional image of at least a portion of a joint during the surgical procedure, determining an alignment of a pre-generated three-dimensional model of the at least a portion of the joint with the two-dimensional image based on one or more features in the two-dimensional image that are associated with the at least a portion of the joint, wherein the pre-generated three-dimensional model comprises a representation of planned bone removal, generating an overlay image based on the determined alignment, the overlay image comprising an overlay of at least a portion of the representation of planned bone removal on the two-dimensional image, and displaying the overlay image to guide bone removal during the surgical procedure.

  • Publication number: 20200253667
Abstract: Disclosed are computer visual guidance systems for guiding surgeons through arthroscopic debridement of bony pathologies, including by automatically generating annotations relating to characteristics of bony pathology in an image. The annotation may be generated in accordance with a determination as to whether a femoral head of the bony pathology is endospherical or exospherical. The annotation may be generated in accordance with a mathematical model created based on anatomies of subjects other than the patient. Further disclosed is a user interfaces for guiding a surgeon through arthroscopic debridement of a bony pathology, wherein intraoperative images are displayed simultaneously with a preoperative plan comprising interactive three-dimensional models of an anatomical feature of a patient.
