  • Publication number: 20200155924
Abstract: A party game that incorporates wine charms to identify the reader and answerer of wine-related questions is provided. The identified wine charm is defined by the roll of a game die, and players associated with identified wine charms read and answer wine-related questions in an attempt to amass all of the wine charms. The dual purpose of the wine charms (to identify participants and their wine glasses) enables players to flow between actively playing the game and socializing with others not in the game.

  • Patent number: 9353885
Abstract: The foot-operated, portable faucet includes a faucet spout that extends vertically from a housing. The housing includes at least one mounting bracket thereon such that said housing is adapted to be secured to a ground surface. The housing includes a female garden hose connection that is in fluid communication with a water valve. The water valve is also in fluid communication with the faucet spout. The water valve is controlled via a foot pedal that is pivotably engaged with respect to a side surface of the housing. When in use, the foot pedal is depressed in order for the water valve to open fluid communication from the female garden hose connection to the water spout. An alternative embodiment may include an auxiliary male garden hose connection. Other embodiments may utilize a faucet spout of varying heights that extend upwardly from the housing.

  • Patent number: 6102457
Abstract: A system and method for the individual collection and disposal of pet waste includes a flushable bag for contacting and receiving the pet waste and a protective bag for receiving and protecting the flushable bag during transport. The pet waste is collected and placed in the flushable bag, the flushable bag is placed inside the protective bag, and the bags containing the pet waste are transported to a toilet into which the flushable bag is deposited and flushed. The flushable bag can be fabricated from paper having a temporary wet strength additive that imparts both the desirable wet strength and decayability when soaking in water. The invention also includes a compostable bag for disposing of compostable materials along with the bag itself in a composting system or composting toilet. The invention expedites the disposal of pet waste or compostable materials and decreases the burden on landfills to accommodate such materials.

  • Patent number: 5557299
Abstract: In one embodiment, the method and related apparatus for configuring and operating a computer keyboard includes providing a personal computer system having a monitor, central processing unit, memory, sound generator and a keyboard input/output interface. The keyboard is substantially flat and has a planar user interface surface with a plurality of discrete membrane switches protruding a small distance (less than one-eighth of an inch) above the surface. In addition, each switch is circumscribed by a key channel. The domes of each membrane switch enhance the tactile response to the child or young adult learning to use the keyboard because upon depression of the key face, the dome deforms into a concave shape and closes a normally open circuit junction in a key switch matrix beneath the user interface surface. The method as well as the apparatus electrically blocks the generation of multiple digital key strike signals whether based upon continual actuation of one of the key switches (i.e.
