  • Publication number: 20260137447
Abstract: An optical fiber combining-coupled ultraviolet laser ablation system includes a laser, a light homogenizing assembly, and an optical fiber combining assembly. The laser is configured to emit laser light. The light homogenizing assembly is disposed on the emergent light path of the laser light. The optical fiber combining assembly is disposed on the emergent light path of the light homogenizing assembly. The light homogenizing assembly is used for performing beam flat-top shaping and beam superposition on the laser light to obtain a target light spot. The optical fiber combining assembly is used for performing multi-beam transmission on the target light spot.

  • Publication number: 20250268755
Abstract: A handheld fiber probe provides laser treatment of medical tissue. In the assembled state, the fiber probe contains a housing having a front end with an exit point for laser light, and a fiber optic cable having an optical fiber with a fiber termination. The fiber termination of the optical fiber is disposed in the housing. Lenses are provided including a front lens and a rear lens being adjusted relative to one another by a user, so that a laser beam can be varied by varying a distance between the front and rear lenses. The rear lens are a monolithic part of the fiber termination and is formed by fusing the fiber termination.

  • Patent number: 10018784
Abstract: A fiber-optic device is particularly suitable for medical or industrial applications. The device has an optical fiber, which extends in a longitudinal direction to a distal end, and which has a core. A diffuser segment is provided for radially decoupling light from the fiber. The diffuser segment has a plurality of, in particular macroscopic, scattering elements. The scattering elements project into the core for radial decoupling of light. A process for the manufacture of the device is described as well.
