  • Publication number: 20240115961
Abstract: A chair sled attachment assembly includes a base structure, a support bracket, and a base access panel. The base structure is connected to a gaming machine cabinet in a base position projecting in a front direction from a front side of the cabinet and defines a base volume separate from a secure volume of the cabinet. The base structure also defines a base access opening to provide access to the base volume. The support bracket is located within the base volume adjacent to the base access opening and includes a support bracket connecting arrangement to which a chair sled receiver is connectable in a chair sled receiver operating position. The base access panel is removably secured to the base structure in a cover position substantially covering the base access opening.

  • Patent number: 11918050
Abstract: A method of controlling a hot wire anemometer (HWA) of a non-nicotine e-vaping device includes controlling, by a first PID controller, a level of power applied by the non-nicotine e-vaping device to the HWA based on a temperature of a heated element of the HWA and a temperature setpoint; generating a puff detection signal indicating whether or not a puff is currently occurring with respect to the non-nicotine e-vaping device; and while the puff detection signal indicates that a puff is not currently occurring with respect to the non-nicotine e-vaping device, detecting, by a second PID controller, a change in an ambient temperature of the HWA, and controlling, by the second PID controller, the temperature setpoint such that the temperature setpoint changes in response to the detected change in the ambient temperature of the HWA.

  • Patent number: 11408007
Abstract: Methods and strategies for introducing genetic safeguards into microorganisms, genetically modified organisms (GMO) including the safeguards, and methods of use thereof are provided. The genetic safeguards generally impart a low escape frequency, are robust, and are modular. Safeguards with low escape frequency prevent the rise of mutants escaping defined media and limit growth in the wild. Robust safeguards retain wild-type levels of fitness while also maintaining containment in diverse growth conditions.

  • Patent number: 9917987
Abstract: A non-transitory machine readable medium that has a computer program for adjusting color values of an image represented in a color space is described. The computer program displays the image on a display device. The computer program receives several inputs on the displayed image. The several inputs include a selection of a point on the displayed image and a vector input. The computer program identifies a pixel of the image that corresponds to the selected point. Based on the color values of the identified pixel and the vector input, the program determines a color space transform for mapping a set of color values defined within the color space to a different set of color values.

  • Publication number: 20150103093
Abstract: An image organizing and editing application receives and edits the colors of a target image in relation to the colors of a reference image. The application displays vectorscope representations of the colors of a target image and the colors of a reference image. The application receives adjustments to the vectorscope representation of the target image and adjusts the colors of the target image according to the received adjustments to the representation.

  • Patent number: 8823726
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a program that performs a color balance operation. The program identifies an image that includes several pixels. Each pixel includes a luma component value and chroma component values. The program analyzes the luma component values of the pixels in the image to identify several luma ranges. The program determines, for each luma range in the several luma ranges, a set of transforms for modifying chroma component values of pixels in the image in order to remove a color cast from the image. The program applies the sets of transforms to the image to remove the color casts from the image.

  • Publication number: 20120210229
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a method of providing tools for a media-editing application. The method provides a first tool that, upon invocation for a first image, initiates an automated process that adjusts colors of pixel values of the first image based on analysis of the pixel values. The method provides a second tool that, upon selection of the first image and a second image, adjusts colors of the first image to match the colors of the second image.
