  • Patent number: 9360742
Abstract: A swivel camera mount is configured to attach a camera to a mount base which, in turn, may be secured to sport equipment, musical instruments, vehicles, and the like. The swivel camera mount includes an inner rotating component that couples to a camera or camera housing and allows a user to rotate a camera within a horizontal plane. The inner rotating component is securely coupled within an outer sleeve component by a coupling mechanism that allows the swivel camera mount and a coupled camera or camera housing to couple to the mount base. Additionally, the outer sleeve component includes protrusions that allow the swivel mount component to pivot in one or more vertical planes.

  • Publication number: 20160100083
Abstract: A camera mount is configured to attach a camera to a mount base which, in turn, may be secured to sport equipment, musical instruments, vehicles, and the like. The camera mount includes a ball component that couples to a camera or camera housing and that allows a user to rotate a camera within a horizontal plane, and to pivot a camera in one or more vertical planes. The ball component is securely coupled within a sleeve component with a bucket or other coupling mechanism that allows the sleeve component (and thereby the ball component and coupled camera or camera housing) to couple to the mount base.

  • Patent number: 9205497
Abstract: A collet for connecting a tool to a driver includes a shaft having an end. The collet includes a body including a first end that connects to the driver and a second end having an internal space partially defined by a frustoconical bore and a plurality of jaws disposed within the space. Each of the jaws includes a body having a frustoconical surface arranged to engage the frustoconical bore and an engagement member coupled to each body to move between an unlocked and a locked position. Rotation of the tool about the axis in a first direction biases the engagement member toward the unlocked position to allow movement of the tool with respect to the jaws, and rotation of the tool about the axis in a second direction opposite the first direction biases the engagement member toward the locked position wherein the tool is fixed with respect to the jaws.

  • Publication number: 20150177597
Abstract: A removable adhesive base mount is structured to couple a camera mount system to a capture surface such as a sports board, a helmet, a vehicle, and the like. An upper camera mount component securing a camera couples to a lower camera mount component, which in turn couples to the removable adhesive base mount. The removable adhesive mount includes a base mount component, a foam component, a separating component and an adhesive component. Stretching the adhesive component decouples the adhesive component from the capture surface and the separating component thereby decoupling the removable adhesive base mount from the capture surface.

  • Publication number: 20150042832
Abstract: Methods and apparatus, including computer program products, for a light painting live view. A method includes, in a device comprising at least a processor, a memory, a display and a camera device having an on-screen viewfinder, accessing the camera, capturing individual frames of footage, each of the captured frames being displayed through the on-screen viewfinder in cumulative succession, rendering the captured frames on a graphical processing unit (GPU), sending the captured frames through a shader program, generating at least two images, a first image saved to the memory and a second image displayed on the display, and rendering the first image into the second image to generate a final image.
