  • Publication number: 20140127058
Abstract: A plunger pump includes a housing with a discharge valve in communication with an outlet. The housing includes a bore that slidably accommodates a plunger. The housing also includes an inlet. The plunger has a closed proximal end connected to an actuator and a distal end with an outlet valve. The plunger also includes a sidewall with an opening that is in communication with the inlet of the housing. Fluid flows through the inlet and through the opening and into the plunger. When the plunger is retracted away from the discharge valve, the outlet valve of the plunger opens thereby providing fluid for the housing bore. As the plunger is moved towards the discharge valve, pressure in the housing bore increases thereby opening the discharge valve and permitting the pressurized fluid to exit through the outlet.

  • Patent number: 8683821
Abstract: Systems and methods for condensate removal are disclosed. A reservoir may include a trap structure and a sediment trap may be disposed within the trap structure. The sediment trap may be positioned within the reservoir so that condensate flowing into the reservoir is filtered before flowing out of the reservoir.

  • Publication number: 20110272043
Abstract: In an embodiment of the present disclosure, an apparatus for handling a fluid is provided. The apparatus comprising a reservoir having a basin which receives the fluid and at least a first port through which the fluid is evacuated; a pump housing including a fluid pump; a fluid conduit in fluid communication with the fluid in the reservoir through the first port of the reservoir and in fluid communication with the fluid pump; at least one sensor which provides an indication of a height of the fluid in the reservoir; and a conduit with a first aperture and a second aperture therethrough, wherein the reservoir and the pump housing are external to the conduit.
