Abstract: A medical device sterile barrier system that is easier for surgical personnel to use by allowing easier opening and removal of the medical device from the sterile packaging, includes a sterile bag within which a medical device is held secure via a removable holster, the holster being fashioned with a hinge feature such that the holster has a clamshell arrangement and folds in half along the hinge feature to clamp the medical device parts in place between the two halves of the clamshell. To remove the medical device the holster is simply unfolded about the hinge feature to reveal the parts of the device, which can then be lifted out of the holster and assembled in the usual way. There are thus no polymer tab features forming part of the holster and interacting with the device to secure it in place that need removal before the device can be used.

Abstract: A water-based drilling mud composition may include an aqueous carrier, an asphalt sulfonate salt, and insoluble latex particles. The insoluble latex particles promote stabilization of an emulsion formed in response to introduction of an oil phase in the composition. The composition may include the emulsion including an oil phase dispersed as droplets in the aqueous carrier. The dispersed insoluble latex particles may be present in an oil-water interface between the oil phase and an aqueous phase of the aqueous carrier.

Abstract: A rolling door assembly for selectively covering an opening in a building includes a shutter roller rotatable about a substantially horizontal axis and a flexible panel windable on and off the roller for movement into retracted and extended positions, respectively. The flexible panel defines an upper portion having a first width and a lower portion having a second width less than the first width. At least one pass door frame is hingedly securable proximate a lateral side of the opening for movement between a first position, in which the pass door frame extends in a substantially transverse direction relative to the opening and a second position, in which the pass door frame is substantially aligned with the at least one sidewall.
