Publication number: 20240093718Abstract: A coupling system is described that allows users to avoid having to manipulate two tools at the same time while reaching around to both sides of the coupled components. A lock plate can rest above one or more holes passing through (and for joining together) the components. A blade pin with a partially hollow cylinder can be inserted through holes in the lock plate and at least partially through the holes. A blade bolt can be inserted into the holes and the cylinder from the other side. The blade bolt can comprise an o-ring that engages with an inner diameter of a portion of the cylinder and holds the parts together with an interference fit. A portion of the bolt can extend through the top of the holes, and a washer and nut can be attached to or about a threaded portion of the bolt. During each state of installation a user will not have to reach to both sides of the system while manipulating multiple tools.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 19, 2022Publication date: March 21, 2024Inventors: Ken Shundo, Ryan A. Smith, Bryan K. Baskin

Publication number: 20210402524Abstract: A nickel and chromium alloy having a combined wt. % of nickel and chromium of at least 97 wt. %, wherein the chromium accounts for 33 to 50 wt. % of the alloy. The alloy may be provided in strip form and has adequate ductility for the manufacture of various products, such as sheaths for flux cored welding electrodes. A method of making the alloy strip includes forming a powder charge that is 97 to 100 wt. % of nickel and chromium combined and the chromium accounts for 33 to 50 wt. % of the charge, roll compacting the powder charge to form a green strip, sintering the green strip to form a sintered strip, and cold rolling and annealing the sintered strip to form the alloy strip.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 8, 2021Publication date: December 30, 2021Applicant: AMETEK, Inc.Inventors: Ryan A. SMITH, Muktesh PALIWAL, Kerry B. DALEY

Patent number: 9300247Abstract: In an electronic device, an RC oscillator generally includes a resistor, a capacitor and at least one inverter. The resistor and capacitor generate a time-varying voltage. The time-varying voltage is provided to the at least one inverter to cause a clock signal to propagate therethrough. The clock signal propagates with a time delay that is at least partially dependent on a supply voltage. The supply voltage is adjusted to maintain the time delay at almost a constant value.Type: GrantFiled: May 6, 2013Date of Patent: March 29, 2016Assignee: TEXAS INSTRUMENTS INCORPORATEDInventors: Per Torstein Roine, Danielle L Griffith, Ryan A Smith

Patent number: 9238852Abstract: A method of making a molybdenum or molybdenum alloy metal strip is disclosed. The method includes roll compacting a molybdenum-based powder into a green strip. The method also includes sintering the green strip followed by a combination of warm rolling, annealing, and cold rolling steps to form the final metal strip which may be cut-to-length. The strip at the final thickness may also undergo an optional stress relief step.Type: GrantFiled: September 13, 2013Date of Patent: January 19, 2016Assignee: Ametek, Inc.Inventors: Muktesh Paliwal, Ryan A. Smith, Kerry B. Daley, Charles M. Italiano, Yakov Mindin
