  • Patent number: 12457486
Abstract: Briefly, example methods, apparatuses, and/or articles of manufacture may be implemented, in whole or in part, using one or more computing devices to obtain, from a communications device, an identifier of the communications device transmitted via a communications network. The communications network may transmit a request for one or more parameters unique to a subscriber of the communications network. The method may also include processing signals indicative of the requested one or more parameters in response to the subscriber entering the one or more parameters into a graphical user interface of the communications device. The method may further include transmitting, to the communications device, one or more signals to provide a complement of subscriber parameters.

  • Publication number: 20230177138
Abstract: Briefly, example methods, apparatuses, and/or articles of manufacture may be implemented to perform identity verification utilizing uploaded content and a trust score. One embodiment may include obtaining, via a communications network, an identifier of a communications device. The method may continue with transmitting, via the communications network, a message to request an upload of a captured image of first content and to request an upload of a captured image of second content. The method may continue with determining whether parameters extracted from the uploaded captured image of the first content match parameters extracted from the uploaded second content. The method may continue with generating an authentication signal for transmission to a client computing resource.

  • Patent number: 11519740
Abstract: A system is disclosed for managing waste services. The system may have a locating device configured to generate a signal indicative of a location of a service vehicle on a roadway, a communication device, and a controller in communication with the locating and communication devices. The controller may be configured to determine a side of the roadway at which a first target location is currently being serviced by the service vehicle, and to determine based on the signal from the locating device a proximity of the service vehicle to a second target location at which the waste services are to be performed. The second target location may be on the same side of the roadway as the first target location. The controller may also be configured to automatically provide via the communicating device an estimated time of arrival to a customer corresponding to the second target location, based on the proximity.

  • Publication number: 20150074075
Abstract: A data visualization system comprising a database, a display system, and a processing system. The database contains a plurality of data fields each containing a plurality of data values. The processing system is in communication with the database system and the display system. The processing system generates display data for at least one displayed data fields of the plurality of data fields. The display data determines visual attributes for each displayed data field based on the data values of the data associated with each displayed data field. The processing system controls the display system to display the display data.

  • Patent number: 8769786
Abstract: A combination trimming/flame treatment end effector adapted for mounting to the end of a robotic arm. A trimming blade extends from a main body portion of the end effector for performing a trimming operation. The trimming blade may be mounted in an exchangeable cartridge to facilitate blade changing. Also extending from the main body portion is a flame treatment element for performing a flame treatment operation. The flame treatment element generally comprises a torch or burner. Because both the trimming blade and the flame treatment element are part of the same end effector, the robot simply manipulates the end effector such that the desired one of the trimming blade or the flame treatment element is properly positioned for use. As such, a tooling change can be avoided. While not restricted thereto, it is contemplated that an end effector of the present invention may be used to process vehicle bumper fascias.
