    Abstract: A stand-up paddleboard (SUP) may be configured with a non-retentive binding system to secure a user's foot positioning. In one example, the binding system may include pockets formed from panels extending continuously along edges of the paddleboard, and straps to provide tension on the pockets, to reduce a likelihood of undesired sliding of the user's feet. The pockets of the binding system may allow the user to reposition the user's feet to multiple secured footholds within the binding system, thereby allowing the user's stance and balance to be maintained.
