  • Publication number: 20230311630
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to an apparatus. The apparatus can include a first fitting having a first mating portion and a second fitting having a second mating portion. The first fitting can couple with a portion of a first fluid line. The first fluid line can be at least partially internal to a battery pack. The second fitting can couple with a portion of a second fluid line. The second fluid line can be at least partially external to the battery pack. The second mating portion of the second fitting can engage with the first mating portion of the first fitting to fluidly couple the first fluid line with the second fluid line.

  • Publication number: 20220396138
Abstract: A battery pack assembly for a vehicle includes a tray assembly fixed under a floor panel in a vehicle height direction and on which a battery pack-associated component is placed. The tray assembly has a base with a first edge portion and a second edge portion opposite the first edge portion. Each of the first and second edge portions is extended upward relative to the height direction from the base and secured to a frame assembly. A deformation feature is provided at a transition area between the base and the second edge portion. During a crash event the second edge portion is adapted to bend toward the base via the deformation feature allowing a displacement of the base in one of a vehicle front-back direction and a vehicle width direction and also downward in the height direction.

  • Publication number: 20060010813
Abstract: A component is adapted for assembly to a panel at a desired location. The component includes a body and at least one fastener threadingly received in the body, the fastener having a head and a threaded shaft, the head extending outwardly from the body a predetermined distance and adapted to be received through an aperture in the panel. The head is adapted to temporarily hold the component on the panel before final assembly, and the threaded shaft is adapted to be driven by a tool which turns the shaft in a direction causing the head to draw toward the panel. A locating member is disposed on the body at a predetermined position and is adapted to couple with a complementary member disposed on the panel when the component is at the desired location.
