Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to lightweight calling among users with avatar animation. A lightweight call can be a user-to-user interaction between users. For example, each users' system can stream lightweight call data to the other user system and output the lightweight call data. In some implementations, the output includes displaying animated avatar(s) and audio data for the lightweight call. For example, the streamed lightweight call data for a first user system can include avatar animation data for an avatar that represents that first user and audio data captured via microphone(s) of the first user system. A second user system can output the avatar animation data as an animated avatar and the corresponding audio data. Implementations of the lightweight call can be displayed via a lightweight call panel that includes side-by-side animated avatars representative of the call participants.

Abstract: An optical beam director is described that include at least one dispersive component configured to receive light and to be rotated about a rotational axis for beam steering in at least one dimension. The at least one dispersive component includes two prisms and the beam director is configured to rotate the two prisms in counter directions and to rotate at least one of the prisms at a variable rate. Spatial estimation systems including the optical beam director and methods of spatial estimation are also described.

Abstract: A micturition device for fluid removal. The micturition device includes a micturition cup configured to encircle a user's urethra and vaginal anatomy and to facilitate evacuating a fluid from the micturition cup. The micturition cup is joined to a slide plate to form a common flow passage from the micturition cup through the slide plate. A garment, configured to be worn over a pelvic area, includes a slide track. The slide plate slidably engages with the slide track to allow a user to adjust a position of the micturition device relative to the user's vaginal anatomy in a seated or laying position and/or on the positioning of a seat. Also, a method of using the micturition device. Further, a micturition system for evacuating and receiving a fluid from the micturition device.
