Publication number: 20210315229Abstract: A gummy includes an inner portion, a formulation having a dispersion including an active ingredient contained in the inner portion; and an outer portion which surrounds the inner portion. The active ingredient includes one or more nutrients such as cannabinoids and dietary supplement. The dispersion includes one or more of a liposome emulsion; a nanoemulsion, and a microemulsion, each containing the active ingredient. A method of making such gummy having the cannabinoids and/or dietary supplement formulation in the inner portion thereof includes setting up a central filling apparatus having a shell syrup hopper, a central filling hopper, and a manifold branch and nozzle mechanism; filling the shell syrup hopper with the base material; filling the central filling hopper with the formulation; dispensing the base material and the formulation in the manifold branch and nozzle mechanism, and further into the gummy mold; and extracting the gummy from the gummy mold.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 25, 2021Publication date: October 14, 2021Inventors: James John YIANNIOS, Judith S. REYES, Ryan C. JONES

Patent number: 9859729Abstract: A container has a bottom panel, left and right side panels, front and rear panels, and an open top to facilitate the removable receipt of individual objects. A lower support tray is positionable upon a recipient surface. The tray has a front edge, a rear edge, and laterally spaced side edges. An intermediate chamber has a front, a back, lateral sides, a top and a bottom. Wires have interior ends within the chamber. Each wire has an exterior end in proximity to the tray for charging electronic devices.Type: GrantFiled: November 2, 2015Date of Patent: January 2, 2018Inventor: Ryan C. Jones

Publication number: 20170166364Abstract: A liquid-dispensing container comprises a housing and a valve member. The housing is adapted to hold a liquid and includes an opening defined by a wall having an inner edge and an outer edge. The valve member has a ledge engaging the outer edge and a cleat engaging the inner edge. The valve member can further include an integral gasket positioned between the ledge and the cleat and deformed in engagement with the wall. The cleat preferably includes a beveled surface. The valve member can be inserted from the outside of the housing and without the need for additional retention members. Specifically, the valve member is secured to the housing by contacting the cleat with the outer edge of the wall, moving the valve member toward the housing such that the cleat passes through the opening, and engaging the cleat with the inner edge of the wall.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 29, 2015Publication date: June 15, 2017Inventor: Ryan C. Publication number: 20140089862Abstract: A user input requesting a route that satisfies particular criteria (e.g., a route to one or more destinations) in a virtual world is received. A route from the current location of the user in the virtual world that satisfies the criteria is determined, and an indication of this route is displayed to the user. The indication of the route is displayed in a gameplay mode in which the user can immerse himself or herself in the virtual world. The indication of the route can be a multi-purpose indication, such as additionally indicating where it is recommended that the user accelerate or brake in a racing game. The user input can be received while the user is in the gameplay mode, allowing the user to remain immersed in the virtual world while requesting the route.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 21, 2012Publication date: March 27, 2014Applicant: MICROSOFT CORPORATIONInventors: Ryan C. Jones, Jonathan P. Knoles, Ralph M. Fulton, Karl J. Hammarling, William T. Stones, Denis Mouraux

Patent number: 8603330Abstract: A water diverter assembly is positionable in a skimmer chamber between a well and a pool. A bar has opposed ends removably received in and supported by the chamber. First and a second similarly configured plates have interior ends with first radii of curvature adjacent to the well and exterior ends with second radii of curvature greater than the first radii of curvature adjacent to the pool. Regions join the bar and the plates. The plates are closest together at the interface of the interior and exterior ends. The plates increase their separation at the interface during operation and use in response to the flow of water between the plates.Type: GrantFiled: May 5, 2011Date of Patent: December 10, 2013Assignee: Crystal Blue VortekInventor: Ryan C. Patent number: 8382977Abstract: A pool has an opening formed with upper and lower surfaces and first and second side surfaces. A chamber located interiorly of the opening has a cylindrical well with a vertical axis. A first diverter plate has an exterior edge adjacent to the first side surface and an interior edge between the opening and the well. The first diverter plate is arcuate with a vertical axis of rotation adjacent to the first side surface. A second diverter plate has primary and secondary sections. The primary section has an exterior edge adjacent to the second side surface and an interior edge between the opening and the well and is arcuate with a vertical axis of rotation adjacent to the second side surface. The secondary section is located adjacent the primary section with a vertical axis of rotation essentially co-extensive with the axis of the well.Type: GrantFiled: July 29, 2010Date of Patent: February 26, 2013Inventor: Ryan C. Jones

Patent number: 8202416Abstract: A face plate has a passageway positionable in a skimmer opening of a pool. An arcuate short diverter plate is coupled to a side edge of the face plate. An arcuate long diverter plate in a generally S-shaped configuration is coupled to a side edge of the face plate spaced from the short diverter plate. The diverter plates have closely spaced regions for forming a restricted flow path for water to be skimmed to increase water speed and skimming effectiveness. The long diverter plate has an arcuate region with a vertical axis of rotation co-extensive with an axis of a pool well.Type: GrantFiled: September 23, 2009Date of Patent: June 19, 2012Assignee: Crystal Blue Vortex, LLCInventor: Ryan C. Patent number: 6974133Abstract: A system for a dart-based golf game on an electronic dart game machine has been developed that includes at least one electronic dart board having distinct scoring segments, a CPU electrically connected to the electronic dart board, and a video display electrically connected to the CPU. The CPU displays game mode graphics on the video display, including a golf course hole graphic having a virtual ball and a hole, and a power meter having a moving element. The CPU correlates an instantaneous movement of said moving element at an instant of the dart contact with a movement of the virtual ball on the golf course hole graphic.Type: GrantFiled: March 5, 2004Date of Patent: December 13, 2005Assignee: Arachnid, Inc.Inventors: John R. Martin, Ryan C. Jones, Patrick G. Rice, Christopher M. Walker, Timothy J. Ward
