  • Patent number: 11306834
Abstract: A flapper valve comprising a generally rigid flap which is mounted within a flexible body coating. The hinge in the flexible body is formed by using an internal reinforcement material having a permeated structure which allows for the body material to penetrate through the reinforcement material during the valve formation. This provides for a more sturdy hinge which better resists wear.

  • Publication number: 20160043606
Abstract: An electrical generator section includes a case, a screen ring, first and second stator sections, and a rotor. The case has a plurality of circumferentially-spaced axial flow cooling air inlets, and first and second electrical connector ports. The screen ring is broken by a circumferential gap, and is secured over the cooling air inlets. The first stator section is heat-fitted into the case in a location axially forward of the screen ring, while the second stator section is heat-fitted into the case in a location axially aft of the screen ring. The first stator section is connected to the first electrical port through the circumferential gap, and the second stator section is connected to the second electrical port. The rotor is disposed radially inward of the first and second stator sections.

  • Publication number: 20150355099
Abstract: A scratch verification method and apparatus for detecting and analyzing defects in a surface, the apparatus include a detection device with a plurality of emission sources and a plurality of sensors. A processor is connected to the detection device and is configured to apply one or more sets of criteria to one or more corresponding target areas of a surface. The processor is further configured to differentiate between data from the one or more target areas.

  • Publication number: 20130086615
Abstract: Extensible media and/or activity sharing within a voice call or concurrent real-time communication session is enabled. A concurrent voice call may contextualize shared media and/or activities. Users may share live experiences within the context of a voice call. Continuous, changing real-time media types such as periodic media (e.g., a user's current location) and streaming media (e.g., what the user is currently “seeing” through their personal video camera) may be shared, as well as interactive activities and atomic media types such as an image or a text message. Such sharing may have a unidirectional modality, for example, one party may offer to share media and/or an activity and another party may accept or reject it. Once accepted, the media and/or activity may be available until the sharing party terminates the call or ends the sharing. Conventional mobile computing environments may be adapted to enable rapid, wide-spread adoption of these communication modalities.

  • Publication number: 20090084155
Abstract: A method of forming a pin adapted to be used in a PGA joint, and a flattening head used to perform the method. The method includes: providing a pin blank; and forming a pin head by coining an end of the pin blank using a flattening head thereby forming the pin, the pin having a pin stem and the pin head attached to the pin stem, the flattening head being shaped to impart a topography to an underside surface to the pin head that is non-smooth during coining, the topography being adapted to allow gases to escape from a pin-attach solder disposed adjacent to the underside surface.
