  • Publication number: 20220304772
Abstract: In one embodiment, a light guide includes an emitter and a light guide body optically coupled to the emitter. The light guide body may define a cylindrical body that tapers along an angled plane from a top end towards a bottom end. The bottom end may define a light entrance to the light guide body.

  • Patent number: 11389270
Abstract: In one embodiment, an oral irrigator includes a reservoir, a base configured to support the reservoir, and a button assembly coupled to the base. The button assembly may include a button, a spring coupled to the button, and a seal coupled to the spring. The button may be movable between an original position and an actuation position. The spring may be configured to deform in response to a user input force moving the button from the original position to the actuation position, and to resiliently return the button to the original position in response to cessation of the user input force on the button. The seal may inhibit fluid from entering through the spring into the base.

  • Patent number: 8646942
Abstract: A luminaire includes an electrical base, an optic, and a heat sink disposed between the base and the optic. The lens has a first curved portion, a second curved portion and a third portion. An LED light source is coupled to the heat sink with LED modules arranged to direct light in the same direction. A frustoconical member having a reflective outer surface is disposed between the lens and the LED light source wherein the LED light source has LED modules disposed to emit at least a portion of light toward the reflective outer surface such that light is emitted with a substantially even luminous intensity in a 0°-135° zone.

Date of Patent: February 11, 2014
    Assignee: Lighting Science Group Corporation
Inventors: Mark Penley Boomgaarden, Shane Sullivan, Ryan Chase Kelley, David Henderson
  • Patent number: 8608341
Abstract: Disclosed is a luminaire including an electrical base, a driver circuit in electrical communication with the electrical base, a heat sink operably coupled to the electrical base, a lens coupled to the heat sink and having a first portion adjacent the heat sink and a second portion adjacent the first portion, the first portion having at least one aperture disposed therein or therethrough, the at least one aperture having a different optical transmission property from the first portion in which the at least one aperture is disposed, a reflective member between the second portion and the heat sink, and an LED light source between the reflective member and the heat sink, the LED having at least one LED member between the reflective member and the first portion to emit light towards the reflective member, each LED member being disposed in electrical communication with the driver circuit.
