  • Patent number: 11052541
Abstract: An indication of a task to be performed in a network data center is received. A robotic manipulator of an autonomous robot is controlled to autonomously perform at least a portion of the task. It is determined that an assistance is required in performing an identified limited portion of the task. A notification of a request for the assistance is provided. A remote assistance from an operator in performing the identified limited portion of the task is received. Autonomous performance of the task is resumed after completion of the remote assistance for the identified limited portion of the task.

  • Publication number: 20210039258
Abstract: The disclosed robotic monitoring system may include (1) a mobility subsystem for moving the robotic monitoring system through a datacenter, (2) at least one sensor for sensing information about the datacenter as the robotic monitoring system moves through the datacenter, (3) a payload subsystem for mounting the at least one sensor to the robotic monitoring system, and/or (4) a computation and navigation subsystem for recording the information about the datacenter and controlling the mobility subsystem. Various other apparatuses, systems, methods, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 10710404
Abstract: A driven caster wheel assembly may include a wheel, an axle, a drive assembly, a drive shaft, and a bevel gear. The wheel may be mounted to the axle for rotation about a drive axis and steering about a substantially vertical steering axis. The drive shaft may extend along the steering axis from a first end to a second end, with the first end being connected to the axle and the second end being connected to the drive assembly such that the drive assembly controls rotation of the drive shaft about the steering axis. The bevel gear may connect the first end to the axle such that rotation of the drive shaft about the steering axis controls rotation of the wheel about the drive axis to drive the driven caster wheel assembly in a substantially horizontal direction. Various other assemblies and methods are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8366063
Abstract: A method of locking of and a directionally adjustable mount including a first plate arranged to stabilize an anisotropic device, a second plate arranged to engage the first plate and provide a support, a second supporting member arranged to engage the second plate and to rollably support the first plate so as to define a local spacing between the plates, and a first supporting member arranged to have a first axis of symmetry and to contact the first plate and engage the second supporting member. In a locked position, the supporting members are arranged coaxially regarding the axis of symmetry, such that a sum of a positioning force applied by the first supporting member and a locking force applied by the second supporting member upon the first plate substantially vanishes, so that a resulting local moment of force oriented to deform the at least one first plate also substantially vanishes.
