Patent number: 11826595Abstract: Flammable untreated firefighter training gear is Structural Firefighting Gear (SFG) manufactured without the use of chemical treatments that create resistance to flammability. Stated differently, the gear is SFG that is flammable in the sense that the resulting clothing is as flammable as the uncoated fabric from which the SFG is manufactured. The majority of a firefighter's day is spent preparing for responses to an incident, rather than actual incident response. In other words, the most significant period of time that a firefighter spends wearing their SFG is not during a dangerous incident response scenario, but rather while taking part in the extensive training and preparation to ensure both mental and physical readiness for incidents. As a result, firefighters are often wearing their SFG when its fire and chemical resistance treatments are unnecessary.Type: GrantFiled: June 8, 2023Date of Patent: November 28, 2023Inventor: Ryan Conley

Patent number: 8042252Abstract: The coupling includes a mandrel and a coupling outer sleeve. In a method for installing the coupling on a pipe, the mandrel is inserted into the inner diameter of an end of pipe with an outboard end of the mandrel protruding from an end of the pipe. Then the outer sleeve is positioned over the pipe to form a length of substantially concentrically arranged, overlapping parts of the mandrel, the pipe and the sleeve. Then the sleeve is crimped over at least a portion of length, which engages the pipe between the sleeve and the mandrel. Either before or after sleeve is crimped over the pipe, the sleeve is connected to the outboard end of the mandrel.Type: GrantFiled: December 11, 2009Date of Patent: October 25, 2011Assignee: Flexpipe Systems Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey Ryan Conley, Samuel Glen Bouey

Publication number: 20100266789Abstract: A flexible pipe for conveying pressurized fluids that has an inner tubular layer, two reinforcing layers, an outer layer and a barrier layer. The reinforcing layers are comprised of metal cords wrapped around the inner tubular layer. The metal cords may be comprised of multiple individual wires twisted about themselves or a central guide line. The barrier layer may be positioned between the two reinforcing layers and penetrate therebetween. Additionally, a method for making a flexible pipe is provided, which includes the use of heat to facilitate the penetration of the barrier layer into each of the reinforcing layers.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 20, 2010Publication date: October 21, 2010Applicant: FLEXPIPE SYSTEMS INC.Inventors: JEFFREY RYAN CONLEY, SAMUEL GLEN BOUEY, ERIC JAMES SLINGERLAND

Publication number: 20030074308Abstract: A system for optimizing collection of outstanding balances of skip accounts is provided. The system includes a predictive model associated with an account tracing entity. The model processes data of a skip account to generate an output that indicates an expected recovery amount from the skip account. An analysis program determines a course of action based on the output of the predictive model. In one embodiment, the system includes a different predictive model for each tracing entity. The predictive models are applied to the skip account data to determine the expected recovery amounts for all tracing entities. The skip account is then sent to the tracing entity associated with the highest expected recovery amount as the optimal course of action to take.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 12, 2001Publication date: April 17, 2003Inventors: Brian Michael Lawton, Michael Christopher Hild, Ryan Conley Hunter
